Safiyyah M. Okoye, PhD (she/her) is an assistant professor in the Department of Graduate Nursing (CNHP); joint appointment in Health Management & Policy (DSPH); Drexel FIRST Program
Dr. Okoye holds a joint appointment in the Department of Health Management and Policy, Dornsife School of Public Health.
Okoye is thrilled to join Drexel and work with other FIRST Faculty. She loves that there is a cohort of faculty advancing science and health equity on many levels.
In addition to the cohort, she is excited to get to know the students and other faculty at the College of Nursing and Health Professions and the Dornsife School of Public Health, and to develop her teaching skills.
Okoye looks forward to the adventure of exploring Philly with her partner and their two children.
