The Drexel FIRST internal and external advisory boards guide the program’s vision and practices.

The advisory boards help to maximize the program’s integration and sustainability within Drexel’s culture, policies, and procedures.

Drexel FIRST Internal Advisory Board

The Drexel FIRST internal advisory board draws upon Drexel’s extensive expertise in mentoring and building nationally/internationally recognized programs in disparities research from population health to intervention science.

Composed of key Drexel University leaders, these advisors help to accelerate access to university data, facilitate adoption of FIRST program practices and recommendations, and serve as ambassadors of the FIRST program throughout the university.

This board supports Drexel FIRST faculty development by providing essential review of recruitment development materials and strategy.

Additionally, the board provides valuable external input on the progress towards programmatic goals to ensure the FIRST cohort’s success.
