Josiah Kephart, PhD, MPH, CPH, (he, him) is an assistant professor in the Department of Environmental and Occupational Health and the Urban Health Collaborative at Drexel University’s Dornsife School of Public Health.
Dr. Kephart is thrilled to join the Dornsife School of Public Health because of the School’s longstanding efforts to place health equity at the center of public health research, teaching, and service.
He loves the city of Philadelphia. Having first moved here in 2008, he’s eager to continue to grow strong partnerships with students, communities, and organizations deeply connected to the people.
Kephart feels that it’s a great honor and opportunity to be a part of the inaugural FIRST cohort alongside such a talented group of health disparities researchers from a wide range of backgrounds and disciplines. He can’t wait to see what this group can accomplish together.
